Callum was born in Victoria, and throughout his childhood lived in New Zealand, England, and Australia. His fathers occupation as first a LAME, and then moving into the financial sector of aviation introduced Callum to a world of flying. He completed his CPL at Airways Aviation, and his MEIR at FAST Aviation in 2023.
After taking some time to travel to America, Callum returned to Australia to continue to pursue his dream, taking the step to complete his Flight Instructor Rating at FlyLink Aviation College. He is enjoying training the next generation of pilots, in a multicultural and diverse environment, that values safety and competence so highly.
Grade III
Mook moved to Brisbane to pursue her flight training at FlyLink Aviation College, with a Bachelor of Aviation from New Zealand. She was drawn by the modern Diamond aircraft fleet and reputation for high training standards. Coming from an aviation family, with her mother serving as a flight attendant in the Royal Thai Air Force and her father having flown as a pilot in both the Air Force and Thai Airways, her passion for aviation began at an early age.
Starting with no prior flying experience, she completed her Commercial Pilots License and Flight Instructor Rating at FlyLink and now enjoys helping aspiring pilots begin their own aviation journeys. Mook is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and develop into safe, competent pilots. She values FlyLinks friendly instructors, high training standards, and multicultural community, and is proud to be part of training the next generation of pilots.
Lewis was born in Melbourne and spent his childhood living between Australia and the United States. Moving overseas as a child instilled a love of aviation in Lewis that never left and after completing a TIF in 2019 he was hooked. After completing University, he began full time training in 2022 on the Gold Coast gaining his CPL and MEIR.

Jasper was born in Taiwan and completed his aviation studies at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. He obtained his CPL and MEIR at Airways Aviation before completing his Flight Instructor Rating at FlyLink Aviation College.
Inspired by the positive training environment, strong team culture, and the depth of knowledge shared by the instructors at FlyLink, Jasper decided to continue his aviation career with the team. He is passionate about teaching and enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with students, helping them achieve their aviation goals and reach important milestones throughout their training journey.

After completing the Pilot Immersion Program, students undergo pre-solo checks.
Students aiming to take on their first solo flight.
DA20 aircraft type exam + solo theory exam
assessing basic circuits / flapless circuits / crosswind circuits / circuit emergency procedures — the student will be cleared for their first solo once all areas meet standard
Except for students attempting their first solo, the course will continue to progress even if a particular flight doesn’t go well. For students attempting their solo, if the flight doesn’t go well, additional reinforcement training flights will be required (at extra cost).
Accompanied by an experienced instructor, experience aircraft handling firsthand for approximately 45 minutes, including basic controls and the cockpit environment.
