Pathways after completing Diploma of Aviation
The enrolment criteria required to enrol our Diploma of Aviation
Diploma program
The diploma package includes the following items listed below:
87 hours Dual Flying – Diamond DA20 & DA40. This includes both you and your instructor. Your instructor will help you learn and develop through your training process.
The solo flying hours allow you to fly as Pilot-In-Command (PIC). These hours are invaluable as they help consolidate your skills and improve your confidence. In addition, throughout certain parts of your training – you may be able to take passengers and share the experience.
These hours are used to help solidify certain foundation areas within your training. In addition, using the simulator allows for a higher chance of flight success in airborne environments.
Having a sound and thorough understanding of the theory is crucial, including thorough knowledge of all the elements you will use most in flying.
We will provide you with essential textbooks, uniforms and other learning materials throughout the program. Any extra learning materials will come at the student’s cost.
To obtain a commercial pilot licence, you’ll need to go through the in-house theoretical exams and flight tests that CASA requires.
